Saemapetch Advances To Tourney Finals, Undercard Athletes Shine At ‘ONE: NO SURRENDER II’

ONE Championship - August 15, 2020

Just two weeks after ONE Championship’s flagship event schedule resumed, The Home Of Martial Arts returned to action with ONE: NO SURRENDER II in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, 14 August.

In the main event, Saemapetch Fairtex met his old rival, Rodlek PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym – and their fourth encounter was a delight to all those who tuned in to watch the first semifinal bout of the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament.

From the opening bell, it was obvious that Saemapetch added new tools to his kit. He pelted Rodlek with lightning-fast counters that regularly found their mark.

Even when the Fairtex standout didn’t land his shots cleanly, his punches and elbows were powerful enough to stifle Rodlek and prevent him from getting close.

After three rounds of action, the judges gave a majority decision to Saemapetch, who will now face the winner of next week’s semifinal clash between “The Million Dollar Baby” Sangmanee Klong SuanPluResort and “Left Meteorite” Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai.

Here are the full results for ONE: NO SURRENDER II:
