Xiaomi ROAD FC 044 will take place on November 11, 2017 at the Hebei Gymnasium in Shijiazhuang, China. Featured on the main card are the four quarterfinals matches on the ROAD FC $1 Million Lightweight Tournament. When the Tournament produces a finalist, he will face ROAD FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol. The out-spoken Korean OG Kwon has a lot to say, and we’ve given him a platform in which to do it. This is “In Kwon A-Sol’s Eyes”.

$1 Million Lightweight Tournament Quarterfinals

4. Shamil Zavurov vs Amartuvshin Khuukhenkhuu

3. Baoyincang vs Shimoishi Kota

2. Ronys Torres vs Tom Santos

1. Mansour Barnaoui vs Nandin-Erdene

“This will be a fight between the ‘Ground Hell’ of Mansour Barnaoui and the ‘Straight Spears’ of Nandin-Erdene.

“Nandin-Erdene’s punch is powerful enough to knock out any opponent. He’s got fast feet and can close the distance quickly and then get out. But Mansour Barnaoui is like an anaconda who takes his opponent quickly into ‘ground hell’ with his long legs and arms.

“I am sure that this time Nandin-Erdene will not have an easy win. He is quick, but Mansour Barnaoui’s reach can keep the distance and hit him as well. If doesn’t land his KO in the first 1 to 2 minutes, he’ll be drawn to Mansour Barnaoui’s ground game. And the fact that Nandin-Erdene has never experienced the third round is another important variable. At first he will be able to have fast feet, but after a while he will lose his power and his feet will flatten.”
