The Indian subcontinent rivalry between the neighbors India and Pakistan is one of the hottest in the sports and on November 17th it will reach the Brave Combat Federation cage. Promotion officials’ have confirmed the bout between India’s Atif Mohammad and Pakistan’s Haider Farman for Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions.
Both Atif and Farman are top contenders in the men’s strawweight division, up to 51.7 kg, but are looking to bounce back from defeats in their last Brave appearances, coincidentally against the same opponent: Philippine’s Jomar Pa-ac. Atif lost a razor-thin split decision at Brave 4 while Farman ended up topped in a unanimous decision at the “Fight of the Night” of Brave 2.
As it’s common in the lighter divisions, Atif and Farman are also known for their insane fight pace and constant activity inside the cage, which leaves a fair prediction of a thrilling contest between these two.
Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions marks the promotion’s return to the Kingdom of Bahrain after a year spent expanding its operations and putting on groundbreaking events in countries such as Brazil (twice), Mexico, India, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates. Brave 9 will be the culmination of the International Combat Week, alongside the IMMAF World Championships, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
