ROAD Fighting Championship announces two more matches that will be added to Xiaomi ROAD FC 039 in Seoul, Korea on June 10, 2017. Former Openweight Tournament contenders Myung Hyun-Man and Aorigele will meet, and Moon Jea-Hoon versus Asakura Kai at flyweight.

Moon Jea-Hoon vs Asakura Kai

Moon Jea-Hoon (9-9, Octagon Gym) is from a pure Taekwondo base before picking up grappling and transitioning to MMA. He has wins over former Shooto champ Nezu Yuta, Bantamweight contender Kim Min-Woo, and UFC vet Marcos Vinicius. Moon dropped to flyweight at ROAD FC 036 against Japanese standout Taiyo Nakahara, but he’s prepared to stay in the division and regain momentum.

Asakura Kai (8-0, RINGS) is a karateka who holds the Outsiders 57kg title. He made his ROAD FC debut in 2016 by choking out Liu Xiaoyang, then at ROAD FC 036 he destroyed Alatengheili in seconds. Asakura is seen as one of the hottest prospects in the flyweight division today.

Moon versus Asakura is a striking match at its finest as Taekwondo takes on Karate!
